The Scoota Trailer is the Cadillac of scooter trailers. Made in the USA, the Scoota Trailer comes in 2 sizes, standard and XL. Both come in classic red and are rugged enough to be the only trailer you'll even need to buy. Great optional features like a shock assist gate make it incredibly easy to open and close the gate without bending over. The Scoota Trailer only requires a class 1 hitch (class II or III also works) and has a towing capacity of up to 600 lbs.
It weighs a total of 285 lbs., and only places 35 - 75 lbs. directly onto your tow vehicle's trailer hitch.
If you choose to add the optional aluminum top, which only weighs 50 lbs., your total trailer weight will only increase to 335 lbs., making it one of the lightest enclosed transporters of mobility scooters and power chairs in the industry. The tailgate in the lowered position, it will require lifting only nine pounds (which is less than most vans equipped with spring assisted side loading ramps).
