2008 Chrysler/Dodge BraunAbility is proud to introduce the new 2008 Chrysler/Dodge accessible conversion. This wheelchair minivan is the result of over a year-long company-wide effort to design, engineer and manufacture the finest lowered floor conversion the Ability Industry has ever seen.

Braun Toyota Rampvan The BraunAbility Rampvan is the culmination of thirty-five years’ experience in building personal mobility products. Style, performance, convenience and safety have been aesthetically blended to achieve a new level of refinement in a wheelchair-accessible minivan. One glance at the sleek lines and custom ground effects tells you it’s truly like no other minivan on the road. But the touch of a button on the OEM keychain quickly reveals what makes the Toyota Rampvan special.

The sliding door opens, the rear suspension lowers and the ramp unfolds to reveal a spacious interior designed to meet the needs of wheelchair and scooter users down to the last detail. The lowered floor allows you to ride at a comfortable height in your chair, offering ample head clearance. Removable seating enables you to drive or ride in the front or middle passenger position. Interior control switches are placed throughout the vehicle, putting you in complete command of your mobility. A driver-side wheelchair securement system can be installed by a BraunAbility Dealer. All of these thoughtful features result in an accessible and stylish vehicle like no other; the Toyota Rampvan byBraunAbility.

At the heart of the Rampvan conversion lies the acclaimed Toyota Sienna, consistently rated as a favorite among minivan owners. Through an exclusive partnership, BraunAbility and Toyota have worked hand-in-hand to create an accessible vehicle that offers many advantages: superior carrying capacity, maximum headroom, loweredfloor width, and ample ground clearance. Safety has always been a top priority at BraunAbility.

The Rampvan has been crash tested and certified to meet or exceed all applicable requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and is backed by our 3 year/36,000 mile limited and 5 year/unlimited mile rust-through metal protection on every vehicle that leaves the factory. Add to this the original Toyota warranty for unconverted parts and a nationwide dealer network, and you can rest assured BraunAbility will be there to support you no matter where your travels take you.

CompanionVan: Accessible & Economical The BraunAbility CompanionVan offers the accessibility of traditional lowered-floor minivans in a streamlined, economical package. With a manual door and manual bi-fold ramp, these wheelchair vans are the perfect choice for those who will travel with an attendant. In the Side-Entry model, both front seats and the rear bench seat are retained during the conversion process, allowing seating for up to four ambulatory adults with one wheelchair securement position in the center lowered floor area. For the Rear-Entry model, two unique Flip & Fold second-row seats allow seating for up to four ambulatory adults with one wheelchair securement position in the rear lowered floor area. With the seats folded up, the lowered floor area easily accomodates two wheel chair passengers.

The Side-Entry's floor is lowered from the rear bench seat to just behind the front seats, allowing space for one wheelchair. The Rear-Entry design features a lowered floor from just behind the front seats all the way to the rear of the van, with room for two wheelchairs with the seats folded up. Which model you choose will depend on many factors, including the type of parking you typically encounter (parallel, angled, or 90-degree).
